Jack Burtchaell's walking tour, through the regional capital and Ireland’s oldest city, Waterford takes only an hour but will leave a lasting memory. The walk includes two cathedrals, four national monuments, and a gallery of rogues and rascals, all delivered in a witty, entertaining style, by a master storyteller.
Jack Burtchaell wears his scholarship lightly and many visitors appreciate that they have just spent an hour with someone very special in a city which has a history to match his telling of it. Jack is the 2002 national winner of the Irish Touring Guide Award.
The daily tours will take place from mid March to mid October. Guided tours for groups of 10 or more by prior arrangements all year around.
