Why not check out Tramore's five kilometres of golden sandy beaches with dunes and cliff walks. Woodstown, Waterford has a long sandy beach with nature trails. The hook area includes a variety of beaches - Dollar Bay, Booley Bay and the large Blue Flag beach at Duncannon.

Make your own Fun.
With all the exiting things you can do in the South East, it would be easy to forget that you can also just enjoy some simple pleasures. Why not have a family picnic along the Copper Coast or in the Comeraghs? Want to explore a cave, follow the beach wherever you happen to be and at the end of it, you might find a secret cove.

Its raining. Its pouring.
The South East gets more sunshine than anywhere else in Ireland. but it does rain sometimes. never fear, there's still a whole heap of great stuff to do when the drops start falling. Especially if you've packed your wellies and a little imagination! You could just go sloshing on the beach and discover all manner of interesting objects washed up on the shore.

Drizzly days are perfect for trying something new. Learn to ride the waves at one of the surf schools, or go on an aquatic adventure in a kayak, a rib boat or strike out for a good old swim. Wanna stay indoors? Visit the Waterford Museum of Treasures and discover all sorts of fascinating historical stories through the objects and displays you'll see. Take the Waterford and Suir Valley Railway for amazing views!

Lots for Mums & Dads too.
There’s a lot to do and see along the way, from exciting activities to world-class attractions. Mum and Dad can indulge in a spot of relaxation at a spa, or enjoy a round of golf. Among several world-class golf courses in the region, we have the magnificent Faithlegg House Hotel an 18th Century mansion overlooking an 18-hole parkland golf course situated by the esturary of the River Suir. Undeniably beautiful but also challenging, is Tramore Golf Club, over 110 years old and one of Ireland's most popular 18 hole golf course. Set against the backdrop of the Comeragh mountains, the course is naturally eye-catching=- the perfect spot in which to enjoy some great golf.

The range of accommodation is second to none, while in many restaurants there are special kids’ menus, as well as a fine selection of cuisine for the grown-ups.
