Richmond House
Set in private parkland just outside Cappoquin, the Deevy family’s fine 18th century country house and restaurant offer a winning combination of genuine hospitality, high standards of comfort, thoughtful service and excellent food. The restaurant is the most important single element at Richmond House, and non-residents regularly make up a high proportion of the guests. Herbs, fruit and vegetables are grown on the premises for use in the kitchen and Paul is an ardent supporter of local produce, buying seafood from Dunmore East and Dungarvan, beef, lamb, bacon and sausages from his trusted local butcher and extra organic produce grown nearby. Under Claire’s direction, the service is excellent and admirably discreet care continues throughout.
